About the Commission
The Parks and Recreation Commission is dedicated to acquiring, managing, preserving, and enhancing a high-quality system of parklands, open spaces, and recreation facilities. It also oversees a wide range of educational and recreational programs tailored to engage residents of all ages and interests.
Meeting Logistics
The Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month. These meetings are open to the public and feature a designated time for community input through public comments. Your involvement helps shape the department’s priorities and ensures that programs and initiatives align with the needs of our community.
