Located in Missouri’s capital city, the Jefferson City Radio Control (R/C) Club has been bringing hobby enthusiasts together since 1983. The club is dedicated to promoting the enjoyment of radio-controlled aircraft, including planes, helicopters, multi-rotor drones, and more.
The club operates out of the Joseph C. Miller Flying Field at 5601 Rainbow Dr, Jefferson City, MO, offering amenities such as an asphalt runway, covered shelter, spectator area, and startup stands. Flying is permitted from 9 AM until dark, and the club welcomes guest pilots, spectators, and new members.
With a focus on community involvement, the club hosts regular meetings, cookouts, club-only events, and community events that engage with other AMA clubs and charitable causes. Pilot instruction and youth programs are also available to encourage newcomers to the hobby.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, the club maintains a no drugs, alcohol, pets, or smoking policy. AMA membership is required for all pilots, and visitors are welcome to stop by and watch flights in action.
